Curling Custard is a dark colored defining gel-based custard that will enhance curls and coils with a firm hold. With ingredients such as coconut, aloe vera and shea butter to deeply moisturize your hair. This styling custard has a light citrus fruit and floral fragrance with a dash of lemongrass essential oil. Directions:

    My package just arrived today. Chile I had to wait like a little over a week but at least with the tracking I saw it was still coming one town at a time. lord the way covid slowed down my packages this christmas make no kinda sense but it got here in one piece and it smell like body lotion or baby powder. not gonna lie the slimy feel and black/grey color made me concerned at first, I said watch my hair fall out over this mess 🤣🤣 but I used youtube to guide me. let me tell you that slime feel is where its at! that slipppppp! chile! I had to be mindful not be heavy handed but that slip made me so happy. my curls popped mmkay! I had no time to sit and wait to air dry, so I sat under my hooded dryer and boop I’m ready to be seen.

    If I could give 10 stars I would! Jada saved my Thanksgiving and is about to save my Christmas! We have an upcoming social distance Christmas dinner. Each household makes meals and video chats each other while breaking bread. My son and daughter have natural hair that makes combing stressful so getting their hair to look extra special for our Christmas dinner was going to be a challenge. I want no chemicals in their hair and stumbled on Jada’s Luxury Beauty Supply Instagram account. that’s how I saw the Curling Custard! ordered the larger jar. so far tried it on myself first and it worked wonderfully. Then I made pigtails on my daughter’s hair then used a comb to apply the custard on her 2 puff-puff pigtails are now curly pigtails. my husband gave our son a fade then I combed the custard on his mini high top, now my young prince has a fade with a curly high-top. these styles had my kids looking brand new for social distancing Thanksgiving dinner. Haven’t washed their hair yet they’re still rocking the look but will re-do it for the Christmas dinner in a couple weeks. Thank you so much for shipping it out as soon as ordered. Bless

    The expiration date really threw me for a loop but I emailed Jada and she responded with reminding that she emailed me the expiration information with my tracking number before she shipped it, she said not to worry it won’t expire in March 2021. So she and I reviewed it together. Turns out my curling custard won’t expire till December! Just in case I went to Google and it’s true, in Africa they use dates like in Europe, it’s Day/Month/Year over there. We do Month/Day/Year over here. Well, that was all I needed to know and went ahead and put this in my hair and it was the instant curl definition for me!

  4. OMG I THOUGHT IT WAS EXPIRED!!!!!! –

    So I order my Curling Custard and got all excited. it came within a few days and opened it right up then hit with a BOOM !!!! Expires on 3/12/21 …meanwhile we’re in the middle of February, there’s no way I am finishing this entire jar in 2 weeks!!!!
    My heart sank, I was upset, I was so sure I got scammed! So I put the curling custard back in the package that it came in fully ready to send it back and ask for a new batch and if they won’t send me a newer one then I’ll get a refund. Thank goodness I called. Wow! so did you know that outside of the USA other countries use Day-Month-Year?!?!?! meanwhile INSIDE the USA we use Month-Day-Year. I was so ready to throw a fit, then got educated, and as proof…Jada asked me to look RIGHT BELOW the date stamp, sure enough, right there, right below the 3/12/21 it was stamped D/M/Y …sadly, I feel that in my frenzy I missed it. Jada kindly told me about the email she sent me with the tracking number days earlier actually included the information regarding dates in the USA vs The World , but of course I missed it because I didn’t read that either since all I cared about was the tracking number. So, I say this all to say, once cracked open, the product is good for a year whether ordered in February or June. That’s what I learned today and I appreciate Jada’s patience to explain it.

    OMG! This smells so good! Shipping took like 6 days but its ok I know the whole covid thing made it take a while because holiday season. I’m afro-latina so I was nervous that it wouldn’t work on my 3C/4A hair. But I am pleasantly surprised! she did say it would be a firm hold on your curls and last a few days.they weren’t kidding! I went over a week with my hair. definitely recommend!

    I am from Luxembourg but I have family in New York. I wanted this before it sold out again so my family went to Jada’s beauty shop and got me the set. it is VERY hard to find natural black hair care in Belgium, not to mention here. Even though we have black Europeans. it’s so annoying. so I got excited having a black owned product with natural ingredients from a black owned shop and when my family sent it to me.
    pleased with set. I actually sometimes use the leave-in conditioner by itself or the lanolin by itself. the curling custard made my hair extremely defined.so I don’t need to use those hair sponges any more

    I follow OnlyOneJess on youtube and she got this for her wash and go. She said they put Jesus’s Tears in the jar! LOL so I got curious.I was skeptical cuz aside from shea butter and black soap I never buy anything sourced from Africa. I was upset it took over a week,but I know Black Friday was weird this year. I used it and I enjoy my new look. I have ear length 4A and 4B textured hair. my hair is short so it didn’t do much bouncing like Only Jess after the gel custard dried but my curls were curling and the pop was popping. its great!

    This is actually my 3rd time ordering this. The first time I tried to order it directly from Africa but their customer service is none existent and their website doesn’t work maybe California IP address doesn’t work on their site. No Clue. so I searched on Google and Jada’s Luxury Beauty Supply had in-store and online. Looked them up, it’s a legit retail store in New York so I placed my first order for myself,2nd order for family and came back a 3rd time to get it as a gift for my friend. We all love it.

    I got my tracking number and I don’t even think it took many days for my order to arrive (I’m in South Carolina). My Curling Custard and Nappy Curl definer came so quick. I bought it for my birthday coming up and tried them. I like the Curling Custard more because it holds stronger. The Nappy Curl Definer does similar to the custard but is a softer hold so I will use it for twist out since it is a softer hold. For my birthday I will be using the curling custard to do its magic!

    I was worried about the ingredients but it actually is all natural. No wacky ingredients, I can read and understand it.

    The crunch is a bit much for me with the super hold but then I stretched and voila! eventually mixed it with the leave-in conditioner for a softer hold. I will get the Nappy Curl Definer next time since it gives a softer hold. The Curling Custard has a hold that lasted too many days for my liking. I prefer 2-3 day hair. not that 5-7 days wear.

    I’m actually here because I am reordering and figured to let y’all know yes it works. my hair is type long so the shrinkage of the curls actually looked real cute. I don’t about folks with the super short hair but for me and my long hair I got through product a lot so I need the bigger jar.
